Aarrrggg! Brayden's 1st Pirate Birthday!

A few weeks ago, two of our dearest friends, Kristin and John Buckner, allowed us the privilege to put together the dessert table for their baby boy's, Brayden's, first birthday :) As soon as Kristin told us the theme of the party, Kylie and I immediately started compiling ideas of what we could do for the tablescape. Once we came up with the overall look of the table, we started thinking about how we could incorporate the pirate theme with the desserts we were going to make and it all came together great! Here are some pictures of the tablescape and desserts :)

The Girls Valentine's Dessert Night

Kylie and I thought it would be fun to get a group of girls together for a fun night of fellowship, laughter, and of course...dessert!! So we did what we love to do :)...we put together a little tablescape and baked some delicious goodies! Here are some pictures of our Valentine's dessert night with the girls.

Inside Scoop:

Color Palette: Grey, Pink, and White
Tablescape Theme/Ideas: we wanted a more modern, yet flirty look; with white platters, clear jars, and the "punch" of color coming from the flowers and desserts :)
Desserts: vanilla cupcakes with a strawberry-buttercream frosting, topped with a candy heart; marshmello pops dipped in white chocolate with silver/grey sprinkles, muddie buddies: rice chex with peanut butter, chocolate, and powder sugar, frozen coffee drinks in mason jars, and Dimples Cakepops (http://www.dimplescakepops.com/Site/Dimples_Cake_Pops.html).
